Beanbag Typeface
A doughy display typeface.

Background
Beanbag is the first typeface I ever created. It has gone through many iterations ever since its inception in my Introduction to Modern Type Design course, with the most recent revision in 2023.

The Process
It took many weeks to get the proportions and plump features of the design just right.
(03)
Results
This extra bold, sans serif typeface makes an impact with its thick stems, round corners, and thin oval counters. Its soft and squishy appearance is almost as plush as a beanbag chair.
